The Mechnology Group<\/strong> combines the competences of three companies that specialize in different areas of precision machining<\/strong>. OCI, Benincasa Meccanica and IMAS specialize in turning<\/strong>, gear cutting<\/strong> and grinding<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n

This enables the group to act as sole supplier for finished mechanical components<\/strong>, with full control over production, logistics and product quality.<\/p>\n

Implementation of MES and APS Systems for the Advanced Digitization of Production Processes<\/p>\n

Benincasa Meccanica S.r.l. has launched a strategic digital transformation project aimed at deeply innovating its production processes. At the heart of the initiative is the introduction of an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling), which will enable the direct connection of 30 machine tools for more efficient and integrated operational management.<\/p>\n

Through the digitization of real-time data collection and finite-capacity scheduling, the company aims to reduce machine downtime, improve delivery punctuality, and increase overall productivity. The project also contributes to environmental sustainability by eliminating paper-based documentation and optimizing energy consumption.<\/p>\n

This project represents a decisive step toward smarter and more sustainable manufacturing, strengthening the company\u2019s competitive position in the precision mechanics sector.<\/p>\n

The project is carried out with the support of European Funds from the Emilia-Romagna Region and includes a total investment of \u20ac 218,400.00<\/strong>, with a requested public contribution of \u20ac 87,360.00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
